Privacy Policy
Last revised: 09.26.2025
This Privacy Policy explains how {{SITE_NAME}} (“{{SITE_NAME}}”, “we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and discloses information when you use our website and Windows-PC downloads (the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
We designed {{SITE_NAME}} to be simple: free downloads, no account, no payment, Windows PC only.
1) Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last revised” date will change when we do. If updates are material, we’ll take reasonable steps to notify you (e.g., on the site). Your continued use of the Services after changes means you accept the updated Policy.
2) Information We Collect & How We Use It
We aim to collect the minimum necessary.
A. Information you provide directly
-
Support emails. If you contact us, we receive your email address, the contents of your message, and any files you attach.
Why we use it: to reply, troubleshoot, improve support, and maintain service quality.
We do not require accounts, logins, or payments. We do not host user galleries. We do not ask you to upload photos to the site.
B. Information collected automatically
When you visit the site or download files, we (and service providers) may collect limited technical data via cookies or similar technologies:
-
Device/usage data: IP address (and approximate location derived from IP), browser type, operating system, pages viewed, referring/exit pages, timestamps, and error logs.
Why we use it: to run site analytics, improve reliability and performance, prevent abuse/fraud, and understand aggregate usage.
We may use a standard analytics tool (e.g., Google Analytics) to help us understand site traffic patterns. We do not build individual marketing profiles.
C. No special categories collected
We don’t intentionally collect sensitive categories of personal data.
3) Cookies & Similar Technologies
Cookies help the site function and help us understand basic usage. You can control cookies via your browser settings (block, delete). Blocking some cookies may affect basic functionality.
Do Not Track: Many browsers offer a “Do Not Track” or global privacy control signal. Our site is not configured to respond to these signals, but you can use browser tools and add-ons to limit analytics.
4) How We Share Information
We share information only as needed:
-
Service providers: e.g., analytics providers, security/hosting, error-logging—solely to operate, secure, and improve the Services.
-
Legal/ safety: if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security of users, the public, or {{SITE_NAME}}.
-
Business transfers: if we undergo a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your information may transfer as part of that transaction under this Policy.
We do not sell or “share” personal information as those terms are defined under certain U.S. state privacy laws.
5) Windows-Only Experience; Offline Use
Our downloads are designed for Windows PCs only. Once downloaded, most packs function offline. This design minimizes ongoing data exchange with us.
6) Data Security & Retention
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes described (e.g., to answer your support email, maintain security logs, comply with legal obligations), then delete or de-identify it.
7) Children’s Privacy
The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact support@placeholder.com and we will delete it.
8) International Users
Information may be stored or processed in countries other than your own. Those countries may have different data-protection laws than where you live. We take steps consistent with applicable law to protect your information.
9) Your Privacy Rights
U.S. State Privacy Rights (e.g., CA/CO/CT/VA)
Depending on your state, you may have rights to access, delete, correct, or obtain a copy of certain personal information, and to limit certain uses. We do not sell or “share” your personal information and do not use it for targeted advertising.
To exercise rights, email support@placeholder.com. We may need to verify your request (e.g., via your email address). You can designate an authorized agent via written authorization or power of attorney.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
Email preferences
We don’t run marketing emails by default. If you contacted us and later wish to stop communications, reply and let us know.
10) Third-Party Links
The site may link to third-party sites (e.g., printer tips, Windows resources). We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. Review their policies before interacting.
